The flameless heating device uses packets of API’s patented mixture of aluminum powder and proprietary additives. Upon reacting with water, the packets release hydrogen gas, which then pass through various surfaces and chemicals that induce a flameless reaction of hydrogen with the oxygen from the air, resulting in the release of heat. Furthermore, the exothermic nature of the aluminum-water reaction results in the production of additional heat. The components will be integrated into convenient wallet-sized packaging.
