The flameless heating device uses packets of API’s patented mixture of aluminum powder and proprietary additives. Upon reacting with water, the packets release hydrogen gas, which then pass through various surfaces and chemicals that induce a flameless reaction of hydrogen with the oxygen from the air, resulting in the release of heat. Furthermore, as no carbon monoxide is released as a result of the reaction, the system is safe to use in any environment. The packets used in this process can be easily discarded after use.
